Sterling Silver Castings

Sterling castings are available to anyone who wishes to build their own pistol with silver furniture, or to upgrade an existing piece mounted in brass or steel. The commission of a pistol is not required to purchase these castings.

All castings are .925 Sterling Silver and sold "as wax cast" with sprues removed, filed as needed, and tumble pre-finished.

Arrangements for polished/finished parts can be made at additional costs and will vary according to the piece requested.

Side plate patterns are fairly typical of the school or builder named, and are cast for pistol lock length. Other patterns will be forth coming. The same applies to butt caps, nose caps, and trigger guards.

The plain wide skirt entry pipe pattern (#7601) available at this time can be cut and filed to any desired shape, as can the forward lugged pipe. Specify 5/16" or 3/8" ramrod for all pipe sets. In fact, many different designs and applications can be derived from this pistol set because it is plain. Pipe lugs can be safely removed for half stock applications because these are cast, not bent and folded. Pipe wall dimensions are also thick enough to groove, file flats, or alter as needed.
